Besré in Brazil?

- An idea mild
nutter to strip, compile, classify and seek the true significance
of the name and the
origin of the Besré patronym. Are we the descendants of
obscure German mercenaries or rather of
seed of Breton...? Are the families of Saint-Jouan and Plouër
dependent? Were our ancestors
sailors, masons or roofers of straw? Is there a branch in Brazil?
For a long time, we wonder, rightly,
about the source and the significance of this patronym, let us
say, not very common. Not very
common, in fact, that its pronunciation and its orthography are
continuously abused with our great
recreation of the remainder. It is without lassitude nor frustration
but rather with regard and
comprehension that the members of this family were accustomed
to correct, since their tender childhood, their interlocutors
and correspondents. Today, the recent access, although
limited, with the Breton files by the means of the Minitel terminal
and the genealogical data bases
as well as the facility to exchange information by Internet supports
and justifies at the same time the
publication of this test. From where can a similar name come
well? What does it mean? It is small
history, i am appropriate about it, but this small history, told
here, will become, perhaps, who
knows, a source... a breath for our children.
